Depart for Italy

TUESDAY, JUNE 9: Arrive VENICE

Land at Milan airport, Meet your KIconcerts tour manager, Transfer to Venice region with a lunch stop in Verona, Check in, Welcome Dinner, Overnight Padua or Mestre

WEDNESDAY, June 10: VENICE

Breakfast daily, Festival rehearsal with John Dickson, Sail to Venice on our private charter boat, past the Grand Canal to dock near St. Mark’s Square, Guided tour of Venice including the imposing Doge’s Palace decorated by 16th century artists such as Titian and Tintoretto, walk the Bridge of Sighs and see Piombi Prison, Dinner daily, Overnight Padua or Mestre area 

THURSDAY, JUNE 11: VENICE

Festival rehearsal with John Dickson, Return to Venice this time to explore the area around St. Mark’s Square, wander the paths through this unique lagoon island or take an optional gondolier ride, Optional individual concert, Overnight Padua or Mestre area

FRIDAY, JUNE 12: MILAN

Travel to Milan, Tour Milan, Italy’s fashion and manufacturing capital - well known for its great ancient and contemporary architecture, Visit inside the Milan Duomo and see the other grand sites of this famous city, Check in, Overnight Milan 

SATURDAY, JUNE 13: GALA CONCERT

Dress rehearsal with John Dickson, Explore Milan or return to our hotel for some free time, Gala Festival Concert conducted by John Dickson, Overnight Milan 

SUNDAY, JUNE 14: DEPART OR EXTENSION TOUR

Transfer to airport to return home or continue to tour Milan before traveling to Rome or Florence

SUNDAY, JUNE 14: CONTINUE TO ROME

Tour the famous La Scala, one of the world’s greatest opera houses, Board the train to Rome, Introduction to Rome, Check in, Overnight Rome 

MONDAY, JUNE 15: COLOSSEUM & THE VATICAN

Guided tour of the Vatican, Visit the Sistine Chapel, Guided tour of the Roman Forum, seeing the Capitoline Hill, Citadel of ancient Rome, and the Tarpeian Rock before touring the magnificent Colosseum itself, Overnight Rome 

TUESDAY, JUNE 16: ROME

Guided walking tour of the historical center of Rome visiting the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and seeing Campo de’ Fiori and the Pantheon, Optional individual concert, Farewell dinner, Overnight Rome

Tour the famous La Scala, one of the world’s greatest opera houses, Continue to Montecatini, Time to explore the spa town of Montecatini on arrival, Check in, Overnight Montecatini 

MONDAY, JUNE 15: FLORENCE

Transfer to Pisa or Lucca, Tour ‘under the Tuscan sun’ visiting Pisa to see the Leaning Tower in all its glory or Lucca, one of Italy’s last fully walled cities dating back to Gothic times, Arrive at one of Tuscany’s ancient towns, Optional exchange concert, Overnight Montecatini 

TUESDAY, JUNE 16: TUSCANY

Guided tour of Florence, the epicenter of the Renaissance, Visit the Piazza Del Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and of course Accademia to see Michelangelo’s brilliance, Time to explore this city, Transfer to Rome for overnight nearby Rome airport 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17: RETURN HOME

Transfer to airport and travel back home
