Salzburg & Vienna

DAY 1: Depart from your home airport.

DAY 2: Arrive in Salzburg, explore the city’s key sites, and take a guided walking tour through Mozart’s birthplace, Hohensalzburg, the Mirabell Gardens and the Salzburger Dom.

DAY 3: Visit locations featured in the movie “The Sound of Music”, including the Mondsee Kirche, St. Gilgen and the original gazebo from the movie, and perform a concert in one of Salzburg’s incredible venues.

DAY 4: Take a guided visit of the Benedictine Abbey in Melk, perform a small concert in the Abbey’s chapel, and sail to Vienna on the Danube.

DAY 5: Explore Vienna with a guided walking tour through the Hofburg Palace, Mozart’s “Figaro House”, St Stephen’s Cathedral and the Central Cemetery, and meet and perform an exchange concert with a local ensemble.

DAY 6: Discover the beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, visit the former houses of some of Vienna’s most notable composers, explore Vienna with your ensemble, and perform a final concert in the city.

DAY 7: Head to Vienna’s airport and begin your journey home.

DAY 8: Head to the airport and begin your journey home.
