DAY 1: DEPART

DAY 2: ATHENS 

Arrive in Athens, clear Greek customs and immigration, meet your KIconcerts Tour Manager and board the bus for the orientation tour of Athens with its famous Acropolis, Parthenon and the ancient Agora. This beautiful historic capital city of Greece glowing under the Aegean blue sky was once the epicenter of Greek culture and even today features architecture of the ages. Enjoy your first day taking in Ancient Greece. This historic city gave birth to democracy, science and the fine arts yet has a vibrant modern cultural life amid the stunning ancient landmarks. Check into your hotel in time for the first of your delicious Greek dinners. Overnight in Athens 

DAY 3: ATHENS 

We start the day with your scrumptious daily breakfast, a hot and cold buffet. After breakfast, we board our tour bus for guided sightseeing of Athens which reveals this marvelous city, the “Cradle of Civilization”. You will tour the most famous site in Greece - the Acropolis, where there will be an opportunity for a short, informal recital. The Acropolis played host to festivals and historically significant events during the peak of Athens’ power. Today it stands as an architectural masterpiece and source of national pride. There will be time to prepare for your EXCHANGE PROGRAM (tbd) and your first CONCERT in Greece, possibly with a local ensemble, finishing with a combined finale before dinner. Overnight in Athens

DAY 4: HYDRA | POROS | AEGINA | ATHENS

Today we will enjoy a day cruise to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina. Our first stop is at the enchanting island of Poros. On our way from Poros to the island of Hydra you will be served a delightful Greek lunch. Once we arrive at Hydra, you can admire the unique architecture and dramatic landscapes including the narrow stone paved streets perfect for exploration by foot. Our final stop is the island of Aegina with time to explore and enjoy a coffee in one of the charming coffee shops on the waterfront. We return to Athens while enjoying authentic Greek singing and dancing on board. Dinner this evening in Athens will be by your own arrangements. Overnight Athens

DAY 5: ATHENS

After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a stunning archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. We will also have the opportunity to explore the Plaka area. Under the slopes of the Acropolis, the Plaka attracts many visitors to Athens with its charming shops and restaurants where you can enjoy a fantastic lunch with the constant entertainment of passers by and street performers. There is time to prepare for an OUTREACH CONCERT or opportunity to SING MASS or give a RECITAL. Enjoy another lovely Greek dinner and Overnight Athens

DAY 6: CORINTH | ATHENS

Today, after breakfast, we tour Ancient Corinth. The extensive ruins, mostly dating from the Roman period, are dominated by the remains of the Forum and the Temple of Apollo. We will also see the striking Corinth Canal and the Bema (judgment seat) where St. Paul was brought for trial. We will return to Athens in time for a CONCERT (tbd) and dinner. Overnight Athens
