Day 1: Depart

Depart home

Day 2: Arrive Venice Area

Clear Venice airport and depart for an Italian orientation before the first of our daily Italian dinners. Overnight Mestre area

Day 3: Venice

After the first of our daily buffet breakfasts we depart for Tronchetto Pier. The only way to arrive in Venice for the first time is by boat… so we sail to Venice on our private charter boat, past the Grand Canal to dock near St. Mark’s Square. Marvel at how the people of this lagoon ruled the world’s waterways when the Venetians were in the ascendancy. Have a guided tour of the imposing Doge’s Palace decorated by 16th century artists such as Titian and Tintoretto, walk the Bridge of Sighs and see Piombi Prison. After time for lunch prepare for the first of your Italian CONCERTS. Overnight Mestre area

Day 4: Venice | Montecatini

We return to Venice for an opportunity to explore the area around St. Mark’s Square, walk the narrow paths that wander through history or take an optional gondolier ride. After lunch (own arrangements) return to the buses for the drive south to Tuscany. Overnight Montecatini

Day 5: Tuscany

We depart Montecatini for our tour ‘under the Tuscan sun’ visiting Pisa to see the Leaning Tower in all its glory or Lucca, one of Italy’s last fully walled cities dating back to Gothic times. Later in the afternoon we arrive at one of Tuscany’s ancient towns for an exchange CONCERT with the local community. Overnight Montecatini

Day 6: Florence

After breakfast, we embark on a guided tour of Florence, the epicenter of the Renaissance. Florence has to be seen to be believed! Visit the Piazza Del Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and of course Accademia to see Michelangelo’s brilliance as he set his life forms free from marble blocks. Marvel at the centerpiece of the collection, and Michelangelo’s most renowned work; David. After lunch, take time to explore this city, walking along the banks of the River Arno, having a gelato like none you’ve tasted before or simply discovering the many secrets of this jewel in the Tuscan crown. In the late afternoon we return to our buses for the drive to Rome, the ‘Eternal City’. Overnight Rome

Day 7: Rome

We start our day as if on a movie set enjoying our guided walking tour of the historical center of this great city touring the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and seeing Campo de’ Fiori and the Pantheon etc. before having time to explore one of the world’s great cities. Overnight Rome

Day 8: Vatican City

A tour of the Vatican Museums unfolds a world of art, intrigue and religion the pinnacle of which is the Sistine Chapel where we take in the immensity of the breathtaking Michelangelo frescos. Many choirs are honored with an invitation to SING MASS at St Peter’s Basilica which completes a never to be forgotten day. Overnight Rome

Day 9: Rome

Our final day in Rome sees us walk back through ancient times past the Roman Forum, home to the world’s first senate, seeing the Capitoline Hill, Citadel of ancient Rome, and the Tarpeian Rock before touring the magnificent Colosseum itself. Our final CONCERT in Italy is a chance to celebrate a life-changing tour. Overnight Rome

Day 10: Return Home

Arrive at Rome’s airport and travel back home
