DAY 1: DEPART 

Depart for the UK 

DAY 2: EDINBURGH 

After landing at Edinburgh airport and meeting your KIconcerts Tour Manager we commence an introductory tour of the magnificent city of Edinburgh including the regal Royal Mile, the charming Old Town and historic St Giles’ Cathedral dating back 900 years. Check into our hotel and enjoy the first of our daily dinners. Overnight Edinburgh 

DAY 3: EDINBURGH 

A full British breakfast is served every day (try the baked beans or black pudding if you dare) before touring the grand Edinburgh Castle which dominates the town from Castle Rock where it is believed humans have gathered since the Iron Age (2nd Century AD). We view the Scottish Crown Jewels, the Royal Apartments and the National War Memorial of Scotland before meeting a local ensemble for a possible EXCHANGE before for our first shared CONCERT. Dinner might even include a taste of Haggis. Overnight Edinburgh 

DAY 4: EDINBURGH | YORK 

After a morning exploring Scotland’s capital city through its winding laneways, staircases and shopping areas we board the bus to head South into the English county of York. Check in and overnight York.

DAY 5: YORK | HARROGATE

Tour the historic walled city of York and visit Yorkshire’s jewel in the crown, the York Minster, a breathtaking Gothic Cathedral – the second largest in Europe. After time to explore this enchanting township we stage our second CONCERT in York or the neighboring and charming spa town of Harrogate. Overnight York

DAY 6: OXFORD | LONDON

Visit Oxford, home to one of the world’s most prestigious universities, and now familiar to millions of Harry Potter fans. We visit all the main sites and tour Christ Church College before driving to London from where much of the world was ruled during the time of the British Empire. Check in and overnight London

DAY 7: LONDON

We plan a visit to Buckingham Palace this morning to see the Changing of the Guard (if held this day otherwise we hope to program this for Day 8). We will see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square with picture opportunities at all of London’s greatest iconic sights. In the afternoon we will tour the city of London traveling past the Bank of England, Tower Bridge and Christopher Wren’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. Some might want to attend a West End show this evening. Overnight London

DAY 8: LONDON

Ride the London Eye high above this great European city and sail the River Thames which has been at the center of many of Britain’s greatest events – so much so it has been described as “liquid history”. After time to explore Convent Garden or other areas of London we prepare for our final UK CONCERT (possibly another EXCHANGE) and enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight London

Transfer to the airport and travel back home
