Singing Elaine Hagenberg’s Compositions
in Austria

In Austria’s storied musical heartland, Elaine Hagenberg brings a new chapter to a centuries-old tradition — music built on timeless texts that have carried across cultures and generations. This festival centers on two of her compositions: Illuminare, conducted by Elaine Hagenberg, and Aeterna Via, conducted by Allen Hightower, Director of Choral Studies at University of North Texas. Together, they invite ensembles to add their voices to a living legacy, still being written.

Why Austria?

Austria has long been synonymous with musical excellence, and nowhere is that legacy more vibrant than in Salzburg and Vienna. Performers can immerse themselves in a culture shaped by composers, performers, and audiences who have long valued the power of music. Surrounded by grand architecture, elegant concert halls, and a culture that reveres the arts, ensembles will experience a destination where music is woven into everyday life. Austria is a place where artistic excellence and cultural immersion go hand in hand, inviting travelers to experience the works of Elaine Hagenberg in a setting as inspiring and memorable as the music itself.
