Sometimes we are asked: is now a good time to travel? And we get where the question is coming from.

There is a lot to assess when considering international travel. Yet the world craves engagement like never before. At KI Concerts, we take our role as musical ambassadors seriously. And as musical ambassadors, we have a unique ability to connect people to people through performance, exchange, and immersion.

The small way we help heal the world is through engagement. So, our answer to that question is a resounding yes: now is a good time to travel.

One of the cornerstones of a KI Concerts trip is cultural immersion. We are well-known for offering once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities alongside unforgettable, tailored sightseeing experiences. But often, the element of the trip that leaves the most lasting impression on the tour members is cultural exchange.

Cultural exchange can come in many forms. We facilitate deliberate, immersive exchanges between touring groups and local groups, where tour members relish the opportunity to learn about a new culture, share their own, and perform music with and for one another. But cultural exchange can also manifest in more subtle forms: the warmth of the local audiences, the shared experience with a local tour guide, a selfie, a smile, or even the anxious thrill of saying a simple sentence in a new language.

Recent trips have been filled with these moments.

On the Westminster School’s recent trip to Spain, the choir performed at Seville’s Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares, sharing the stage with the local choir Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Cristóbal de Morales.” Before the performance, the two groups shared a pizza dinner, got to know each other, and laughed plenty. This familiarity levied the music, but more importantly, it produced a level of engagement from the tour members that the director had never seen before.

When the Pinewood School went to Iceland, they performed in Skálholtsdómkirkja, a historically significant church in a remote region where audiences get only rare chances to see live music. Though the night was frigid, the audience was warm, and the Pinewood School delivered a multidisciplinary performance in an intimate setting that further intertwined their culture with Iceland’s.

These experiences — where we come together to exchange culture — are what brings the people together. It is why travel is so important.

So far in 2026, we have facilitated unforgettable tours in Iceland, Ireland, Spain, France, and the UK, and we will continue this year in Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Argentina, and many, many, more. (See all of our destinations here.)

For all our tours, we work with our global team of operators to ensure smooth logistics and transportation, as well as offer 24/7 operational support to ensure your group’s safety is prioritized.

Still a little bit unsure? We understand. The best next step is to start a conversation: first with a tour facilitator at KI Concerts, then in a moment of cultural exchange on an unforgettable trip. Hopefully, it’s accompanied by pizza and laughter.

As musical ambassadors, we know that music shared across borders and cultures can provide significant connectivity and healing. And we will never stop engaging the world with music.
